Set up Rocketgate

Connect Rocketgate to Bolt so Bolt can authorize and capture payments through your Rocketgate account.

Step 1: Obtain Rocketgate keys

1. Go to your Mission Control account.
2. Collect:
   • Merchant ID: Admin > Merchant Accounts > merchant name > copy Merchant ID
   • Gateway Password: Admin > Merchant Details > Merchant Options (gear icon) > copy GatewayPassword

Optional: Merchant Account key

If your Rocketgate merchant ID includes multiple merchant accounts, also copy Merchant Account ID from Admin > Merchant Accounts.

Step 2: Add keys and edit payment settings

1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
2. Go to Settings > Payments.
3. Click Set Up Rocketgate.
4. Enter Rocketgate Merchant ID, Merchant Password, and optional Account.
5. Click Next.
6. Edit payment settings, then click Complete Setup.

Expected result: Rocketgate appears as your active processor under Settings > Payments.

Step 3: Configure Rocketgate risk settings

For saved cards, Bolt does not transmit CVV match data. Contact your Rocketgate representative to allow transactions without CVV data.

With Fraud Protection

Contact your Rocketgate representative to allow shipping and billing address mismatches.

Without Fraud Protection

Tell your fraud provider that payments through this processor will not include CVV match information.

Step 4: Set up chargeback notifications

Configure Rocketgate communication preferences for digital chargeback notifications.

Chargeback handling

• With Fraud Protection: Rocketgate supports manual dispute submissions.
• Without Fraud Protection: Follow Rocketgate's chargebacks process.

Testing

Place test orders with each acquiring bank and confirm AVS and CVV auto-declines are disabled.
