Set up CyberSource

Connect CyberSource to Bolt. Your existing CyberSource account, dashboard, and pricing stay in place. Continue using the CyberSource dashboard for payment operations.

Step 1: Obtain CyberSource keys

From CyberSource documentation, collect:

• CyberSource Merchant ID
• CyberSource Shared Secret Key Name
• CyberSource Shared Secret Key

Step 2: Add keys and edit payment settings

1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
2. Go to Settings > Payments.
3. Click Set Up CyberSource.
4. Enter Merchant ID, Shared Secret Key Name, and Shared Secret Key.
5. Click Next.
6. Edit payment settings, then click Complete Setup.

Expected result: CyberSource appears as your active processor under Settings > Payments.

Step 3: Configure CyberSource risk settings

For saved cards, Bolt does not transmit CVV match data. Use CyberSource's Secure Acceptance guide to disable:

• CVN Display
• CVN Required

With Fraud Protection

Use CyberSource's AVS controls to allow shipping and billing address mismatches.

Without Fraud Protection

Tell your fraud provider that payments through this processor will not include CVV match information.

Step 4: Set up chargeback notifications

Configure CyberSource communication preferences for digital chargeback notifications.

Chargeback handling

• With Fraud Protection: CyberSource supports manual dispute submissions.
• Without Fraud Protection: Follow CyberSource's chargebacks process.
