# View risk scores

> Interpret risk assessment scores and factors on transactions in the Merchant Dashboard.

Access [risk assessment scoring](https://help.boltapp.com/add-ons/risk-assessment-scoring/) for merchant-liable card transactions in the [Merchant Dashboard](https://merchant.boltapp.com).

## View a risk score [#view-a-risk-score]

1. Log in to the [Merchant Dashboard](https://merchant.boltapp.com).
2. Go to **Transactions**.
3. Open a transaction.
4. Find the **Risk Score** section with the score and top three factors.

5. Select **More risk factors** to see the full list.

## Interpret scores [#interpret-scores]

The risk score ranges from 0 to 1000.

Scores from 900 to 1000 are the riskiest. Over 90% of transactions in that band result in fraud on average.

| Score    | Category | Description                          |
| -------- | -------- | ------------------------------------ |
| 0-500    | Normal   | No significant risk factors          |
| 500-750  | Medium   | Some possible risk factors           |
| 750-1000 | High     | Multiple or significant risk factors |

## Risk factors [#risk-factors]

Weighted factors influence the score. The multiplier next to each factor shows its impact.

| Multiplier      | Category | Meaning      |
| --------------- | -------- | ------------ |
| Less than 1x    | Positive | Less risky   |
| 1x              | Neutral  | Neutral risk |
| Greater than 1x | Negative | More risky   |

Common factors include address verification, CVV match, transaction amount, email and card tenure, authorization attempts, and behavioral signals during checkout.
